OCTOBER 2026 THEME:
Shadow Work, Grief & Being “Too Much”
A Polyamorous Processing Circle on Shame, Vulnerability & the Parts We Hide
As we move into the darker season, October invites us to look at what often stays hidden. In relationships, especially polyamorous ones, the parts of us we judge as “too much” can become louder: our need for reassurance, our grief, our longing, our fear, our anger, our desire, or the parts of us that don’t fit the version of ourselves we want others to see.
In this 90-minute somatic and creative processing circle, we’ll explore the hidden emotional material that can show up in polyamory and intimate relationships. Through body awareness, creative reflection, and gentle group processing, we’ll make space for the places where shame, grief, vulnerability, and unmet needs live in the body.
This is not about fixing or forcing ourselves to be less. It’s about learning how to witness what is true with more compassion and responsibility. You’ll leave with a deeper understanding of what “too much” may be protecting, how grief can inform your needs, and how to bring more honesty and tenderness into relationships without abandoning yourself.
