NOVEMBER 2026 THEME:
Family, Holidays & Obligation
A Polyamorous Processing Circle on Consent, Family Systems & Staying Connected to Your Adult Self
The holiday season can bring up old roles fast. Around family, tradition, obligation, religion, expectations, and belonging, many of us find ourselves slipping back into younger versions of ourselves—saying yes when we mean no, hiding parts of our lives, managing other people’s comfort, or overriding our own needs to keep the peace.
In this 90-minute somatic and creative processing circle, we’ll explore how family systems and holiday dynamics can pull us out of consent and into obligation. For polyamorous people, this may include questions around visibility, chosen family, multiple partners, being closeted, being excluded, or deciding what parts of our lives we share and with whom.
Together, we’ll use somatic awareness, creative reflection, and practical tools to identify where our adult self gets pushed aside and what support we need to return to ourselves. You’ll leave with more clarity around your holiday limits, more compassion for your nervous system, and language for navigating family, partners, and obligations with greater self-trust.
